According to the latest study conducted on the online journal, VIAGRA which men having erectile dysfunction take reduces the hormonal stress on heart. It helps in the expansion of blood vessels thus helping to solve this dysfunctionality.
It is also effective in treating the pulmonary hypertension. The previous researches conducted on Viagra revealed less beneficial effects on related to heart. Sildenafil or Viagra increases the heart beat and strengthened it which is generally caused by the stress due to the chemical stress factors. It thus decreases the excessive blood transported to the body and the forces which exert the pressure.
The chemical stimulation of the heart is slowed down through sildenafil. This John Hopkins study was conducted with the help of thirty-five healthy men and women of age 30, having no history of coronary artery diseases. In three hours, each of them received two injections of dobutamine, which is a chemical that increases the heart beat and the pumping strength also.
During the injection process, the patients were divided in random groups and given sildenafil and other were given placebo which is a sugar pill. After that, all participants were given the second injection of dobutamine to study the effects of placebo and sildenafil on heart.
The heart related measurements were simultaneously taken before and after the injections like blood pressure, echocardiograms and electrocardiograms. The blood samples taken also reflected the same level of sildenafil and other enzymes. Dobutamine increases the heart function and the force of pushing the blood through the body.
It is similar to the stimulation of nervous system which increases the heart function during exercises and emotional stress. After the very first injection, the heart contraction was increased by 150% in both groups. It was further increased in the second group after the placebo injection. The group injected with Viagra, has a slower heart beat by almost 50%. The blood pressure and flow due to the chemical response was less than the other groups.
Moreover, the functionality of heart was not changed in sildenafil (Viagra) group and there were no side effects of this drug on human heart.
